Arrive at Bangkok International Airport from where you will be transferred to your selected hotel. The day is free to relax after a long journey or set our to explore the city on your own or on one of our optional tours. Overnight in Bangkok. Bangkok can take first time visitors by surprise, all around there are smells, sights and sounds vying for your attention. The colourful tuk-tuks, myriad shopping districts, tempting street food, interesting nightlife, tranquil temples and friendly locals will keep you more than busy on a day out in Bangkok.
After breakfast, enjoy a full day sightseeing tour in Bangkok including the visits to Wat Trimitr (the temple with the golden Buddha), Wat Pho (the temple with a 50m long lying Buddha) and Wat Phra Kaeow with the Kings Palace. Lunch will be served at a Riverside restaurant. In the afternoon, cruise on a long tail boat through the canals of Thonburi, the sister-city of Bangkok for about one hour. Then transfer to visit Wat Benchamapophit (the marble temple).
Start early at 07:00am, and head south to Samut Songkram and further on to the floating markets of Damnoern Saduak, the only floating market still active in Thailand. You will be rowed through the market canals and the nearby Khlongs for about one hour on a small boat to enjoy all the sights and sounds. People from the surrounding areas have come here to sell and buy fruits and vegetables on their boats for over one hundred years, and continue to do so even today. Continue on to Nakorn Pathom, here you will visit the temple with the highest Chedi (a kind of temple tower) of Thailand with a height of over 120 metres. A buffet lunch will be served at the Rose Garden Resort. In the afternoon, see a cultural show in the "Rose garden" including several typical Thai dances, a wedding ceremony and Thai-boxing. Return to Bangkok late in the afternoon. The evening is free to explore the city on your own or take up one of our optional tours.

Leave early and be driven to Bang-Pa-In, a former kings palace used nowadays as the kings summer residence, located 60 km to the north of Bangkok. Drive on to Ayuthaya, the second capitol of Thailand, which was destroyed in 1767 by the Burmese. Visit Wat Phanan Choen, Wat Yai Mongkol and Wat Rachaburana, some of the most important temples of Thailand. The next stop is Singaburi with its famous Wat Pharom Chaksi, the temple with one of the biggest lying Buddha statues Thailand. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant on the way. The route from Singaburi to Uthai Thani is a beautiful sight, weaving through rice field plains. Take a boat trip on Skaekrang River near Uthai Thani in the afternoon.
Start at 08:00am today and go further on through the rice field plains to Phitsanuloke to visit the famous Buddha at Wat Mahatat. People come here from all over Thailand to donate to this Buddha image. After Wat Wahatat, it’s another hour’s drive to Sukhothai. Lunch will be served in a resort-restaurant near Old-Sukothai. Sukhothai was the first capitol of the former kingdom of Siam in the 13-14 century. Here you will either take the bike or the car to visit the ruins and structures of ancient houses.
Take a trip through the mountains to Lampang, where you will visit a typical northern-style temple, the Wat Phrathat Lampang, built mostly with teakwood. Lunch will be served on the way at a local restaurant. The last stop will be at Wat Haripunchai, in Lampuhn, one of the oldest temples of Thailand. Arrive in Chiang Mai late in the afternoon. The evening is at leisure.
After breakfast, enjoy a half-day tour to Wat Doi Suthep, a temple located 4 kms outside Chiang Mai, on top of a mountain. The rest of the day is at leisure.
After breakfast, transfer to Chiang Dao, about 50 kms north of Chiang Mai. Witness an elephant-show and take a ride on an elephant for about one hour through the jungle. Later on, take a raft on the Ping River for another hour. Lunch will be served on the way. Return to your hotel in the late afternoon.
After breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight home.
